Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Training

Rheumatology Fellowship Program
Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Training

MSK Ultrasound

We encourage the use of MSK Ultrasound in our patients and have dedicated faculty to teach our trainees. MSK Ultrasound didactics have been incorporated into the fellows core curriculum. This includes lecture series and hands-on-practice led by faculty Dr. Todd Stitik of physical medicine and rehab and Drs Corneila wenokor and Judah Goldschmeidt of radiology. The Rheumatology fellows participate in weekly Tuesday morning ultrasound scanning sessions followed by scanning of selected rheumatology clinic patients whom the Rheumatology fellows have referred. For those rheumatology clinic patients who are in need of an injection procedure, these are performed by the Rheumatology fellow under the direct supervision of Dr. Stitik.
