Visiting Student Rotations
The Department of Orthopedic Surgery welcomes fourth-year medical students from U.S. medical schools to participate in a four-week visiting student rotation. Applications are accepted through the VSLO application system.
During the rotation, visiting students are expected to function as integral members of the orthopedic team and gain exposure comparable to that of an orthopedic resident at a large Level I trauma center. Students will spend the majority of their time in the operating room, with additional experience in outpatient clinics and call settings.
As part of the four-week rotation, students will be divided into two two-week blocks, spending two weeks on two of the rotations listed below.
