Adding/Dropping Fourth-Year Electives
NJMS students may request elective course changes no less than four weeks prior
to the date the course is scheduled to begin. NJMS students may request externship
course changes no less than four weeks prior to the date the course is scheduled
to begin.
Students may add a course within four weeks of the course start date only with
Registrar Office approval and department permission. Students requesting to
drop courses subsequent to the four-week deadline and prior to the first day
of class will receive a grade of Withdrawal (WD) recorded on their transcript.
Students who may need to take a leave on or after the first scheduled day of
an elective, with concurrence of the faculty sponsor, will have a grade of Withdrawal
(WD) recorded on their transcript. Otherwise, a final grade of Fail (F) will
be recorded.
Add/drop changes are not official until processed by the Registrar’s
Office. Notification to academic departments is not considered official. All
elective add/drop activity must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office
on the form below.
