The Department of Otolaryngology provides comprehensive care for disorders arising from the nose, sinuses and skull base. With our expert care and state of the art equipment with image guidance, we are able to treat patients with a wide variety of pathology. Our physicians can treat issues related to nasal obstruction, bacterial or fungal rhinosinusitis, nasal allergy, benign or malignant sinonasal or skull base tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leaks (CSF). The Department of Otolaryngology is linked very closely with the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Rutgers NJ Medical School and together we form the Neurological Institute of New Jersey.

We provide state of the art surgical treatment using advanced techniques and devices, which include endoscopic sinus surgery, powered instrumenation, balloon sinuplasty and computer image guided sinus and skull base surgery.

We also work very closely with other Rutgers faculty in the Departments of Pulmonary, Allergy and Immunology, Infectious Diseases, and Neurosurgery to provide the best available and comprehensive management for patients with sinus and nasal disorders.
