Residency Program - Resident Applicant Information

The Rutgers Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency program is approved by the ACGME to accept 4 residents this year.

The application process begins with the submission of an electronic application form (ERAS) at https://www.aamc.org/students/medstudents/eras/. Applications are carefully reviewed by faculty members and selected applicants are invited for interviews. Only electronic applications will be accepted for review. The application deadline is October 1, 2026.

Interviews for the March 2027 match will be held in December and January. The Common Interview Offer Date for Otolaryngology will be Thursday, November 5, 2026. The Common Interview Acceptance Date will be November 9, 2026 (12 pm EST). Please contact us for further information at labradan@njms.rutgers.edu.
