The Individual Development Plan (IDP)

• The individual development plan (IDP) - The MD/PhD program directors individually meet with students once a year to discuss their progress and address their needs and concerns based on a yearly IDP. For students before the PhD phase, particular emphasis will be on helping students find a thesis lab. During the PhD phase, the focus is on making sure students are acclimating into the lab and meeting the timeline of the PhD training toward timely graduation.
