NJMS Chapter of the American Physician Scientist Association (APSA):

The mission of RNJMS APSA is to create opportunities for physician-scientist trainees to develop professional relationships at the institutional, regional, and national levels and provide opportunities for professional development and community outreach. Our events include mentorship meetings, guest speakers, journal clubs, and networking events. For more information email apsa@njms.rutgers.edu.

MD/PhD Student Council:

The MD/PhD Student Council was created by students of the MD/PhD program in order to better communicate student councerns, advocate about issues, and improve the program experience for the MD/PhD students. The student council runs the annual symposium as well as other social events, such as our yearly retreat. We meet bimonthly, both with the student body and subsequently with the program directors in order to relay comments and concerns. Our bylaws are available with student login at the following link.
