Most of our housestaff rent in Newark and its surrounding suburbs. All three hospitals are very accessible via public transport and car and while some residents live right next to the University Hospital in Newark. A lot of residents choose to live in different suburban areas of NJ e.g Harrison, Bloomfield, Union, Clifton, Jersey City. We even have residents living as far away as Manhattan and commute daily to the teaching hospitals.
