Salary/Benefits

The basic salaries for house staff (beginning July 1, 2025) are:

PGY1 - $73,133
PGY2 - $76,045
PGY3 - $80,322
PGY4 - $85,014
PGY5 - $87,270
PGY6 - $89,521
PGY7 - $92,528
PGY8 - $94,338
PGY9 - $96,493

• Health/Dental Insurance
• Annual book allowance of $600 which can be put toward medical texts, Step 3 fees, medical reference devices such as iPhones and iPads - this rolls over annually until you graduate
• Meal allowance to be used in the University Hospital cafeteria
