Curriculum/Rotation Schedule

 

Year 1

The first year of fellowship is dedicated to research.  The first year fellow also attends REI clinic one half-day per week at University Hospital in Newark.

Year 2

The second year of fellowship includes 12 months of clinical REI (including assisting on all inpatient and outpatient surgeries performed by REI faculty), as well as a three month rotation in Male Infertility.

Year 3

Third year rotations include Clinical Genomics and Medical Genetics, Pediatric Endocrinology, Medical (adult) Endocrinology, Embryology, research and additional elective time.

Didactic sessions throughout the year include weekly fellow lectures, and weekly REI division meetings for Journal Club, clinical case presentations, or fellow research updates.  REI fellows also attend weekly Department conferences at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, including Department of OBGYN Grand Rounds and Department Statistics/Quality Assurance Meetings.
